I remember my first time ever swinging a driver was in high school gym class freshman year. My swing resembled a low baseball swing and I was hitting them straight and about 270 yards in the air. Literally my first time doing it, so...
Yawn.
Yawn.

If that swing speed is accurate which it clearly is not I think you may be missing your calling as a custodian at chipotle I mean with that sort of oomph you would probably have a better shot than most at dislodging the butt end of a gargantuan ebony colon cobra that was farted deeply into the womens’ toilet drain by a HTC lady who rapidly finished her burrito bowl then got the nether region gurgles and had to hustle to the nearest plumber fixture knowing she would surely clog it and cause some poor sucker to aggressively plunger with the fake green master’s jacket he bought off eBay pulled up over his nose

Are you under the impression that golf is harder than contact / team sports? No 70+ year olds still playing competitive baseball, football, basketball, etc. My Grandpa (natural athlete, played AA minor league ball) casually picked up golf nearing retirement and consistently destroyed people that played their whole lives.
Obviously to get pro numbers is rare, but most non-awkward people with a few lessons to show them form can get pretty decent.

I play cricket. Just as fast as baseball, ball is heavier and harder and bounces off the pitch. It’s a hard sport. It’s not as hard as golf. Nothing is. Guys go from winning majors to losing their pro card. Baker Finch couldn’t hit a 150 yard wide fairway at St Andrews AFTER winning the Open.
Tons of athletes in all sports play golf. A lot of retired ones take it very seriously, and have limitless time and resources to practice and get the best equipment. And hardly any are scratch or even near. The vast, vast majority of golfers will never be any good.
Witness, everyone here who calls me out on my golf. I’ve posted scorecards, handicaps, swings, radars, none of them have ever posted anything. Which now includes yourself

I don't doubt that since I have never played a hole of golf in my life that you could beat my score. I'm just telling you that your drives are a dime a dozen and a weird flex on a bodybuilding forum.
Nothing is as hard as golf? Really? A first timer could finish an 18 hole course. Not a great score but finish (eventually get the ball in each hole). Take that same person and let them bat in an MLB game. Think that they could even make contact, let alone get a hit? Put them in an NBA game. Are they going to score a point? Put them on the ice in the NHL. Think that they would even last the first period? Need I go on?
You made my point: When they are too old and broken down to play their sports, they go play golf. Any game where you can be old and drunk and play, is not the hardest ever.
