Why don't you eliminate the entire world population except one ceo and one guy in the vr world. The guy in the vr world does not go anywhere else but in vr
How does the ceo profit off of that?
He could take his vr items maybe but then what if he needed food? Lol like real items
Because I can tell you how it would happen in the physical world. Let's pretend a currency could happen with 2 people. The ceo could pay the guy to gather materials for him. The guy gathers materials to the benefit of the ceo and the guy makes money

I think at the least we need to incentivize high income earners to have more kids
If your married and reporting an income of 500k+, the gov should be giving this couple like 25k back for every kid
People who make a lot of money have high IQ and other positive attributes. We need more of them to drive civilization
We can’t stop bad people from having kids but we should at least get good people to have more kids

The number and expected date for peak human population seems to be up for debate:
- 9.7 Billion in 2064
- 9.7 Billion in 2080
- 10.9 Billion in 2100
And at least one paper that posits we have already reached peak human population, or that if we haven't we will within 10 years.
Population data for the second millennium up to the year 1970 was fit to a hyper-exponential growth equation, where the rate constant for growth itself grows exponentially due to growth of life-saving technology. The discrepancies between the projected growth and the actual population data since 1970 are accounted for by a decrease in the global carrying capacity due to ecosystem degradation. A system dynamics model that best fits recent population numbers suggests that the global biocapacity may already have been reduced to one-half of its historical value and global carrying capacity may be at its 1965 level and falling. Simulations suggest that population may soon peak or may have already peaked.

What would suck for them is they'd prob have to subsidize more of the older people. And more of their work would go to the older people. And their focus would take away from growth
However, with a lower young population, due to pure numbers some of those old people would be less able to be subsidized
But I don't see this as inherently bad
I don't see a "more, more, more" as inherently good either
Anyways, I'm saying.. yes I see the repercussions. No I'm not certain it's negative

Herrington found that the current state of the world — measured through 10 different variables, including population, fertility rates, pollution levels, food production and industrial output — aligned extremely closely with two of the scenarios proposed in 1972, namely the BAU scenario and one called Comprehensive Technology [CT], in which technological advancements help reduce pollution and increase food supplies, even as natural resources run out.
While the CT scenario results in less of a shock to the global population and personal welfare, the lack of natural resources still leads to a point where economic growth sharply declines — in other words, a sudden collapse of industrial society.
"[The BAU] and CT scenarios show a halt in growth within a decade or so from now," Herrington wrote in her study. "Both scenarios thus indicate that continuing business as usual, that is, pursuing continuous growth, is not possible."

Aaaand I'm caught up to here:
It isn't so much that 8 billion is superior to 1 billion- it is the chaos and suffering likely to occur if we go from one to the other very rapidly.
I became aware of mortality pretty early [thanks Evangelical church] and was anxious about losing "my people" and the grief and sadness of that. I earnestly prayed that none of my people would die before I was old enough to deal with it.
Now people are having children later and also having fewer children. My daughter has written that "every one keeps dying on me" and that was before her father passed.
For whatever reason we have a freakishly high mortality rate right now of working age people too.
I watched a video yesterday that characterized the over 40% increase in mortality for working age adults as a "sigma 10" event- something that you might expect to see by chance once in 1.5 Billion years.
Should begin just at the clip regarding the increase in mortality of 18 to 64 year-olds in the US which was observed in 2021 and so far is carrying on into 2022.

For comparison 10% increase would be considered a 3 - sigma event that you might expect to see once in 200 years.
It took a ridiculous amount of time for me to get social security survivor's benefits started. My ex passed at the beginning of May 2021 and I was just able to get benefits this month by going to an office in person once they finally opened. Multiple calls, long wait times, hang ups, told that someone will call back to give me an appointment, no appointments available...

I think having less people alive on this planet is frankly better for everyone who remains. You ever notice how the only guys ever pushing this "higher birth rate" chit are globohomo governments with expensive pension plans to pay? IRL people don't want more people, they're basically voting with their uglies.
Big govt only want babies around to be Ponzi tax cucks. Given that you can import productive white-collar Ponzi tax cucks from India, and automationmaxx away the blue-collar tax cucks (give it 10 years), I really don't see how a low birth rate is a problem. This planet needs to "right size" to about a billion IMO.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

But I studied environmental science a bit
There were 2 really well known guys that predicted we reached peak population a long time ago
As far as I know everybody who's predicted that has been wrong. In that they predicted a long time ago, something we surpassed
Not like I know everybody who's ever said it but I know I looked at 2 prominent people
That's just one small point your stuff though

1. Convince plebs that they are being "plugged in" in preparation for having their consciousness uploaded to a new "eternal life" free from all suffering.

2. Use humans for batteries. At least temporarily. Maybe.

3. Use robots/AI and a smaller number of docile trained humans for labor and sex.

I'm not sure what the answer is to falling birth rates. Maybe it won't be that big a deal. I don't think polygamy is the answer. With my kids and wife I already feel a time crunch in getting as much attention as I want to everyone. I'm sure I could do better, families used to be bigger. I think the world has changed in ways that make it harder though, too. When I was a teenager I spent countless hours riding around with my dad, checking water, feeding cows, etc. All that time is meaningful, even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. It's tough to get that in today's world.

Basically by blaming mostly men you admit men are the leading gender and women are the submissive ones, which each one of us deep inside knows to be the truth, but for whatever reason saying it out loudly nowadays makes you a bad person.

I don't trust a man to provide for three wives and 8 children if he is too lazy to even look up the details of a show he's making an argument about. Or were some of those supposed to be his wives, too? Yikes.
Anyways, how do women benefit from this? The best outcome in these weird ass situations is for the women to fall in love with each other. Rooting for you, queens!

See ya. I need to do other things too.
You know what they say about opinions.

FWIW sort of cliffs for that last link:
Modeling humanity as a K-selected species with technological acceleration of growth and a proportional degradation of the food production system leads inevitably to a boom/bust outcome. Consider that, first, humanity cannot exceed the food supply; second, that the food supply depends on ecosystem services that are essential for their production; and third, that those natural systems are being destroyed by human growth. Positive followed by negative feedback all but assures an overshoot followed by a crash in population, not a high plateau as some have predicted, although this is still possible.
This paper presents the arguments for this pessimistic projection. A formal model is used to explore the space of population collapse in detail, and future projections are fine-tuned by optimizing the model parameters against past population numbers and other data. Concepts derived from or inspired by the footprint literature, the theorized technological "singularity", and the biological view of humanity as a K-selected species, have led to the system dynamics model presented here. This is a "mind size" SD world model, offered with the hope of making a complex system simpler, easier to understand and easier to teach, and to better understand the Earth’s limits to growth and humanity’s likely future trajectory.

It can't be good to have that band aid solution to such an integral component of what it means to be human. You are supposed to have responsibility to your genitals
Dare I say A LOT of this is caused by birth control

Said that without the definite potential for pregnancy that many women felt socially obligated to have sex with men that they went on a date with because they don't want to be shamed for being "frigid" or withholding and with the availability of birth control they don't have a strong enough argument to say no.
Women are competing for mates and if withholding sex means that no one will date you long enough to consider marrying you then it ceases to be a viable strategy.
I had premarital sex [not a lot mind you] and ended up married [twice, lol], meanwhile my also raised Evangelical cousins never married. Of course I can't swear they never ever put out, but something went differently.

You cant do that with the current debauchery narrative.Having more kids for the sake of having more kids resorting to polyamory would basically put in effect the 80-20 rule making the vast majority of men lazy, unmotivated, angry, frustrated, unproductive, etc.

Women want to marry across and up, so by more women being able to potentially procreate with men who are at the center or to the right maybe the result would be more babies.

We can’t stop bad people from having kids but we should at least get good people to have more kids

Said that it began in the US mainly in the black community with there not being enough good men available for women to all have their own husband so the women adapted to the men slooting around and having multiple baby mamas.
Good men defined as "safe stable providers". Then their theory was that the reduction in well paid work for non-college educated men of all races in the US [moving manufacturing offshore, increasing requirements for a degree to get professional work] caused this state of affairs to spread into the lower/working class communities of other races as well.
************
As I said at the start this wasn't my idea to fix the situation, just an interesting idea.
ThoughI don't know that miscers would like my idea any better:
- matrilineal multi-generation "mother houses"
- adults continue to live with their extended families rather than start new households [in most cases]
- instead of a nuclear family children are raised by their mother and their mother's extended family [aunts, uncles, cousins, grannies]
Then the men can stay "mamas' boys" and live with their mamas who will always love them no matter what and just buzz about like bees visiting other gardens.
Men could still be leaders in their families, or the head of the household, and should still have some access to/time with their children so long as they aren't real dinks.
We just would not subject children to having their family lives disrupted due to whatever romantic/personal stuff that their biological parents get up to. Your male uncles/cousins aren't going to move out of the house and require you to sleep in a different place half the time because your mom and dad don't like each other anymore.
