OPs BP is deadly low and his HR is high because his organs arent getting enough blood, so his brain tells his heart to beat faster to pump more blood. Basically the opposite of what happens to conditioned athletes.

How did I know that?!

Because I used to bike huge distances and developed "Athlete's Heart" and it was not pleasant.

The trick, if that is your issue, is to decondition your heart by not running or anything like that. Eventually, your heart rate will go back to normal.

My pulse used to be in the 40s and I had to give cardio up and then just lift. After about a year it was in the 80s and that's too high in my opinion so I started back with cardio and now it's in the low 60s.
he doesnt have that retard he already told you its from the medication and his heart rate is high not low

Have yourself taken to a hospital right now, if necessary by calling 911!

These BP values are waayyy too low.

Take care and stay safe!

You don't know the first thing about the meds he mentioned, and I do.

It's unlikely they are the only cause.

In addition, the guy is telling us he's fracturing his shins from running so much, so there's more than means the eye.

Don't pretend you can think when you cannot.

OP, why did your doctor give you an archaic med like that?

MAOs are dangerous as there's many foods you can't eat while on them and you can't drink any type of fermented product.

There's typically no need to prescribe these to people and I haven't encountered anyone on them since 1996.

Glass of water with 3000mg of salt mixed in should fix you right up brah. Switch to the tradie diet for consistently raised BP to offset the meds.

I know you are joking but with this med eating something like cheese, sausage, or raisins, could practically kill him.

That and running until your shins break is an odd combo.

Edit: Sorry i didn't answer your question. I've been on the med for 2 years. The very low BP happened when i first started the med and i was falling all over the place. But after a while iBP returned to normal(ish). I increased the dose recently as I felt that the dose I was on wasn't having the best therapeutic effect. However clearly I can't stay on this dose with a BP like that so am lowering it but it will take a while. Am seriously considering going to the ER given what you said. Oddly my resting heart rate is in the 40s (because of running every day although that's out now because of tibial fracture). I had been walking around quite a bit when I took that reading. Heart rate now is 70.
You’re either trolling or one stupid fukk. You need to be in the ER RIGHT NOW. AND DONT CHANGE UR MEDS ON YOUR OWN YOU FUKKING MORON.

That's in heart failure range, along with the high pulse rate, that's not a good combination, call an ambulance, seriously. You could pass away in your sleep if you don't get this taken care of.

Why post?

You aren't having discussions, just wasting your time.

That is stupid.

You don't know anything about the condition or the dangerous antiquated meds he's taking, so you are feeling superior while being profoundly inferior.
Taking a med which lowers blood pressure a lot. Keep falling over and it's exhausting to even raise my hands above my head to wash hair, etc.

[img]https://i.imgur.com/6TJFkni.jpg[/img
OP, that is NOT safe. What is your pulse ox? If a paramedic saw that BP they would immediately start pushing fluids through an IV to bring your BP up and probably give you a vasoconstrictor.

Your body is probably literally shutting down right now because it can’t effectively get oxygen to your organs
And relief washes over me in an awesome wave
