Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Well it usually levels a town or two. Mexico Beach-Panama city, parts of the keys still aren't rebuilt from hurricanes that hit years ago.

Many people on the coast that day claimed they heard multiple explosions inside the hurricane before it collapsed. Its possible "they" used thermite, but dissapation in the gulf loop current makes tracking that dowm impossible. If I were you I'd stop posting about it unless you want your car to accelerate into a tree.

Each storm is its own beast. System speed and what city if any it makes landfall on is what matters. Slow massive storms like this cause massive rainfall, which in a state where the water table is 8ft below surface in the majority of areas can be a real problem. The state is flat as a board in coastal areas, so once that ground hits its saturation point, the flooding begins. Also If this storm tracks east hard and hits as strong as a CAT 3, the SW coast will have only had 24-36 hours to prep/evacuate, which is bad if you live in a trailer, on water, or have a roof thats 20+ years old. You need 48+ hours to actually evacuate people. Worst case scenario people are trapped on 75 with 20+ inches of rain.

Holy chit that's within 5 miles of where I grew up. Used to drive by here almost everyday....this is a bad sign if that's the damage that outer bands are causing.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
