To reiterate, I am merely arguing for an ad campaign to inform people about the health and social consequences of alcohol use. How anyone can be against this is mindblowing.

Meanwhile, those same guys are downing 3 huge mega sized cups of coffee a day, 2 - 4 energy drinks a day, drinking "caffeine water" (I chit you not, there are retards who buy this water infused with 120mg caffeine or wharever), and so forth.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a caffeinecel when I was young. Consuming 600mg+ in a day wasn't super uncommom for me, especially on gym days when I wanted to get the hardesr workouts possible in (I cycled working out with caffeine and without, didn't just down it before every single gym session like a moron). That being said, I was always able to go days without it with no problems, and I cut way back on stims in general in my 30's.

You hate Trump and think he's an idiot right? But, if Trump was in charge of a large company, it would run. If Trump was in charge of a country, it would run. Perhaps they would run better under someone else, perhaps a lot better. But the bottom line is, they would run and basically function. No matter how much you hate Trump, you can't deny that because he has empirically done it.
If you put someone like yourself who can't even hold down a job in charge of a large company or country. Would it not be fair to assume that the company would go bankrupt and the country would turn into a 3rd world chithole like Haiti? That's why your opinion on public policy is a joke.

1 drink doesn't put you into the dui territory. therefore you wouldn't get a dui - which again seems one of the only ways you could discern "overconsumption"
you take alcohol as a substance. it becomes a problem when you drink too much

Plus it had to be pretty specific alcohol, like 1 to 2 glasses of red wine a day max to get the supposed heart/physical health in general benefits. Then even that very specific claim got debunked when people pointed out that a glass if grapefruit juice, or hell eating a real piece of fruit, gives you all those same benefits the booze supposedly did, but without the endless negative effects associated with alcohol.
