South depended heavily on slaves for their economy. They saw it as unjust that the North could cripple their economy and reduce their social standing because they had a problem with slavery.

Equal rights for the states. The North was imposing new laws on the South. They didn't like it.

in politics, states rights vs federal rights is a bs application of dialogue that can be applied to any side of any issue.
People often change their perspective on states rights based on the specific issue.
anyone that says states rights in an npc

Actually if Garfield had survived, civil rights would have been way different. He would have desegregated waaaay earlier and granted full equality.

I do enjoy finding artifacts on my property, tho. Sometimes I will think about the people that made and used them, as well as the animals that were killed with them, since oftentimes they will display some damage from hitting a bone.
But as far as what any governing body was doing back then, or who they were doing it to...

I felt the same way when I realized America is a degenerate empire plundering the resources of the world and oppressing billions of people and that the commies were the good guys.
It's exactly like those dudes who say "FREE TIBET" without realizing Tibet had a fukton of slaves, and Mao freed them. LMAO

The question isn't whether slavery is right or wrong. It is about the real reason behind the civil war. It is categorically false that the civil war was about freeing slaves. Yes, slavery was at issue here, but it was about economics and governance, and how slavery relates to the foregoing.
I know that part of the issue is that you are very low IQ and can't even understand the question. And you are also too low IQ to talk objectively about anything that remotely triggers an emotional response. But I am failing to see what you are valiantly fighting for here?
No one is saying the North were the bad guys. They are just saying the North's motivations weren't purely virtuous. And if anything, Republicans were in power in the north, so not even sure how you think this helps any "cause".
No one is saying the South were the good guys. No one is saying the South's motivations were virtuous, or that slavery wasn't an issue.
I just really fail to grasp what your fight is here, and why you insist on engaging in sophistry over essentially nothing.
Although admittedly part of the problem is my own low IQ (although not as chit tier as your's). You are probably just to mentally disturbed and irrational to have any real motivation or rationale behind your actions, and I'm too low IQ to realize that and just ignore I guess.

The news won’t even tell you the truth about what happened this morning. Don’t anyone kid yourself into thinking that we’re being told the truth about the civil war. Chances are the only people who actually know are the Illuminati puppet masters.

I am no expert, but slavery was involved.
In the north they had sweatshop slavery, in the south there were slaves.
There were a lot of political issues involving trade and tarifs that the north pushed through to the detriment of the south. This was due to the south producing raw materials other countries were also interested in. The north used population to get the votes (3/5ths compromise came from this) and gained a monopoly on southern enterprise.
This is just an example of one of the ongoing conflicts leading to it.
Jefferson Davis was also concerned with the end of slavery being forced on the south and the inability of it as an industry to spread to new land.
The it not being a states rights issue people are being too simplistic. It was a different time with different loyalties. Robert E Lee is a perfect example of someone who fought for his state out of principal.
History is more nuanced than this.

I understand why you engage in sophistry when talking about COViD vaccines - at least there is a “cause” there.
But what is the “cause” here? You are just lying without purpose.
