Corrupt judge. Simple as. Anyone pretending not to get that is either stupid, a liar, or both.
t=jpg&name=large[/img]
If the Judge is corrupt, why didn't Trump's lawyers request a jury?
Oh wait - because they're incompetent. That's why.

"I’m actually worth billions more than what I reported!”
That alone is fraud.
Go tell that to an IRS agent and see what happened

The beauty of this is that this will ruin Trump financially in the ensuing months.
A court approved party now appraises the value of his properties. If there's a discrepancy between their appraisal and the claimed value, the loans go kaboom. Asset impairment will ruin Trump.org. Fraud destroys his corporate shield and makes them liable for all the repercussions associated with that fraud.
It's basically the death penalty in the corporate world. Unless he has shielded his assets somehow, given how his legal defense is basically "Nuh uh! NURNY NURNY NURNY NURR NRR" he's getting financially raped.

smh. This is the guy you trumpers think is some sort of genius? I know it will probably get stayed pending appeal, but as of right now, he is on the verge of having his whole empire be dismantled in front of him. And don't forget, he had to pay $25M because of the whole Trump University fraud thing, so he has real form in this area.

I heard (albeit on a podcast) that the valuation of maralago had to be as it currently exists (e.g. a club). This might explain the lower valuation versus the worth of the property as a potential development.
Unsure if true but thought I'd mention.

On the other hand you have a NY tds infested jury that might convict for tds on a case they shouldn't.
They felt pretty confident, as most legal people did, that this would win- might as well have the judges bench it.
This matrimonial lawyer really has no clue about commercial real estate- that's why 21% of his cases sent to appeals get overturned with unanimous decision.
8 of those recently were major property ones (like the development I cited a few post ago)
Likely to happen here, but it's disruptive as fuk until then.
But who knows, the appeals court is tds infected there also.

Whoever: "I need to borrow a lot of money for this property 'aight? Just trust me, there's no need for an impartial 3rd party appraiser to TELL YOU how much it's worth before you give me the money either!"
Bank: "Sure, no problem.. We do this ALL the time!"

I'm also guessing you haven't read a single thing about any of this and never will. Which is fine.
From the document I posted that you quoted:
Donald Trump’s statements from later years were submitted to this bank on multiple occasions in
connection with the Seven Springs mortgage to meet covenants under the loan and
obtain a series of extensions. Despite lack of cash flow at the property, Donald Trump’s
personal guaranty and supposed personal financial strength was cited by Bryn Mawr’s
internal records for purposes of extending and maintaining the mortgage.

From what I remember, NY State law regarding corporations requires all business records to be reported truthfully and accurately. The judge found that Trumpco was intentionally not following the law.
The lender’s perspective doesn’t really matter here, it’s a bit of misdirection to focus on them even tho I agree it would be a stronger case if they were also claiming they were defrauded.
I absolutely guarantee that if somehow Trumpco fails and can’t keep paying on the loans the lenders will immediately change their tune and claim they were misled.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some lenders are already discussing preemptively exiting their current agreements based the judgement.

Trump's legal team will easily challenge the obviously intentional low-ball estimates of his assets.
The judge is a radical and committed democrat and they have all colluded again, to ironically and fraudulently take down Trump.

But then that begs the question though of... what's the problem? A bank - or banks loan him money, and he pays it back as per the terms of their legal agreement, right?
He "Overvalued it!"

Ok... but is the bank getting back the money they loaned him, or no?

The sad thing is this is completely ok with them.. To them blanket investigations looking forsomething/anythingare completely legit.

I'm not so sure, based on Trump's own arguments, that the current evaluation by the Judge can be easily successfully challenged.
