Emporers, Pharaohs, Kings, and queens all did this.
Rich parents: Keep their kid at home or buy them a house. Sends them top universities. Gives them best job positions

Nothing wrong with helping your kids become properties owners ...but either way you look at its lame af to be living home 30 +
Stay home 20-29 all you want. Before I bought my condo, I had 1.5 year stint at home where all I did primarily was work and save $ . And also saved all I could before moving out the first time at 24 /25 too

lived in a house with 3 other dudes and also in an apartment on my own for a while
then covid hit / I got laid off so moved back home with the 'rents
why wouldn't I live with my parents lol? actually utilize the home's square footage and save loads of money on rent
I also have a duplex in my name that's collecting rent, and my fiance and I will be moving into a 400k 2 bed 2 bath condo this winter, can't wait!

My parents helped out big on the down-payment on current spot.. but I'm responsible for everything else so it's not like I could just retire at this point. And also forfeited my savings at the time too for down payment

The faster you can buy a house, the better. Someone who lived at home and bought a house in 2019 is 5 - 10 years ahead of someone who moved out and in currently renting.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I don't live with my parents, but I see them fairly often.
Once parents reach like 70+ years old they become a lot better to spend time with. Everyone is chill and happy with life.

Only reason we move out besides college/work is so we can bring over girls & defile their holes in our own apartment.
Other than that i see zero upsides.
****** live with parents until marriage. So did whites not that many years ago.
This is how to win life.

After 30 not 100% for it but if the house is big enough and they get along well with their parents I don't really have an issue with it. Housing is ridiculous nowadays. A 1 bedroom apartment in any decent area here is at least $1500 a month and I don't live in a super high COL area like NY or CA.Only reason we move out besides college/work is so we can bring over girls & defile their holes in our own apartment.

I think ideal would be if you have a house with an in-law suite/apartment type space where the child could live then switch when the parent is older and have the child right there to help the aging parent.

6 figures could mean barely scraping 100k a year (very average wage and nothing to brag about) or 999k a year. Big difference pussy boi. You can guess which figure I'm closer to

If you live with your parents at phucking THIRTY then your tour is over and arguably never began. You are beyond fixing. You likely lack any ambition or self awareness at all to find yourself in this situation, and will live the rest of your life as a beta to other men and poosy repellant to women
Two exceptions IMO. Exception #1 is you are a TRUE caretaker. As in you pay all the bills, everything, and your parents require you to support them. That is fine and noble. Exception #2 is you get ONE get out of jail safetynet card as an adult. Maybe you start a business and it fails. Maybe your wife divorces you and takes the kids. Maybe you lose your job and everything in a bad market. Then yea you can stay with your parents BRIEFLY to get yourself back on your feet.
But if you are 30 and live with mommy and daddy and always have. Well, simply put, you are a giant loser.

If you're in your early/mid twenties and live at home with mom & dad you better be working a full time job, helping out around the house, contributing with the mortgage/ buying food etc while saving up for your own place.. If you're some MinisterOfChildLust/P51 cuck living at home doing nothing with your life.. well I have some bad news bro.

MOGGERS pay for their kid's life expenses every step of the way. Top universities, top internships, top starting salaries, the best company positions
Meanwhile average wagecel thinks moving out at 18 and going $45k in student loan debt is putting your big boy pants on. Wagecels think their boss, the same kid who had everything handed to him, is the actual loser in this scenario.

Personal insight: I live in my parent’s home with my wife and kids. We own another property that we are renting out. My parents are old and my sister is disabled. They asked us to live with them. We help them out. We have good incomes, and the house has enough bathrooms that none need to be shared (and some are rarely used since they are double digit in number), to address points made earlier.
It’s not always easy but it’s one way of going about life.
