The collapse of the Democratic Party continues…
Former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is expected to endorse former President Trump at an event for the National Guard today.

I only listened to the beginning of her Jocko podcast episode so far, but it's really good. And I always really liked her. She explains why she endorsed Bernie in 2016 over Hilary and why she eventually left the party. Regardless of party politics, it's incredibly refreshing hearing someone who actually knows what the fuk they're talking about speak. And actually speak sentences with substance, not just dancing around questions, yelling incoherently, calling people names, etc. I wish she actually had a chance, unfortunately she doesn't with the establishments setup the way they currently are.

Lmao oh no! Not Tulsi Gabbard! It's almost as if she has zero political future so she decided to grovel to Trump in hope of a job.

Tulsi endorsed Bernie. He didn't offer her a job or money, she clearly did it on principle.
I know you don't like it, but on principle, someone with Tulsi's views probably would see more with Trump/MAGA than the modern Democrat party. You can line up her principles and stances on issues, nitpick there (and I'll be with you – a lot of her ideas are not ones I share) but I think it's pretty small of you to just instantly go after her and try and depict this as only because of her being a immoral or skeevy person groveling to Trump.
Sometimes you guys, and a lot of others, but they don't want to talk about policy… well, it's here now.

She also proceeded to say Biden will lead us into a "nuclear Holocaust" (this was before he dropped out of the race). Hyperbolic garbage pretty much.

She is clearly auditioning for a spot in his administration. She has no political future as a Dem. Her only hope is to grovel to Trump.

I love the idea of a unity party. There's certain things that I do like from the Democrats and vice versa. Being able to share some policies that in the end will make America stronger is a great idea. RFK said it perfectly him and Trump don't agree on everything, but there are some important issues that they do. I'll be curious if we see more of this in the coming weeks/days.

Trump is policy-wise, I think has his appeal (I mean, he's a moderate Republican or even a throwback-era Democrat) but the man has his personal flaws and even on policy, he's not some bastion of perfection. If she is groveling, you may have had the right of it, although as much as I like Tulsi, I would probably attribute it to her being a team player and having already worked out a spot in a Trump administration – but that's my bias showing and I won't demand my speculation holds any water or get nasty if someone disagrees about it.

One thing on Trump and endless wars, he was one of the few on the right to call out Iraq as bullchit. Every Janeane Garofalo did, certainly, but usually in a "BUSH ONLY" manner and most shut up about it real fast once Obama got elected.
Meanwhile, I remember Trump being interviewed on Fox News , gave Bush credit for his tax cuts and just blasted him over Iraq and what a mistake it was.
This was prior to his political asperations being made public, he was probably a registered Democrat at the time, but looking back I can respect his opinion there. At the time, I was too brainwashed (so it must have been prior to 2006) and did not like hearing Bush criticized on Iraq, dismissed all the other protests as liberals just looking to complain about a Republican (and I was wrong) but this was the first time I'd seen someone more neutrally condemn it. He'd just gotten through praising Bush, for the tax cuts, so it didn't fall down the usual "only party line disagreement" criticism.
