The over-MSRP maximum limit is being set at $8,500. The new rule is in response to reports of dealer mark-ups that have exceeded MSRP by an average of $9,500, and in some cases as high as $25,000-$30,000.

What if you're in Cali and cannot use 93oct? Should manufacturers only list specs based off what is available everywhere? Come on brah

800hp stock on a domestic is crazy.
Would love to have this, but of course all 3k will be bought by rich people before they even land at the dealers. Good luck seeing one on the road, ever.

That is definitely not "vastly" different, and if you are not a car enthusiast, or if you don't have them side by side, the majority of folks won't have a clue that they are not the same trim. We have so many v6 challengers around here, that you will blend into the sea of them with this. Will just seem like you slapped a hood and tires on, and called it a day. If I am going to spend upward of $100k on a demon, I don't want it to look too similar to the lower end trim models, or even the upper end, as there is a $50k price difference.
To us enthusiasts, we may recognize the differences, but only really within 25 yards.
This is the same reason I wouldn't buy a 911. Almost all of the trims, except for the badging, look the same. Different strokes, and all that.

I have been around many of cars with fender flares. I have been next to a Hellcat, and a Hellcat with a Liberty Walk kit......trust me the Demon will stick out like a manmore in a manlet contest.

Quarter-mile: 9.65 seconds at 140 mph, the world's fastest production car quarter-mile, as certified by the NHRA. In fact, that's so dang fast, Dodge says the car is "officially banned by the NHRA" for being too quick for a production car to run at a drag strip without a cage.
And yes, shockingly, this is all covered by Dodge's three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and, even more astoundingly, the automaker's six-year, 60,000-mile drivetrain warranty.
Dodge will build only 3000 Demons for the U.S. market, and 300 for Canada, in the 2018 model year. Production begins in late summer, with delivery to dealerships taking place this fall. Pricing has not yet been announced, though however much it costs, each buyer will get a free day of driver training at Bob Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving.

From Car and Driver:
Source:http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...-and-info-news
Although great on paper, when are you going to let rip that much of a beast of a car? I'm sure the suspension and body will be able to handle all of that power, but for me, this is one of those vehicles that look great to see on the road, the track, but it isn't something I'd want to own.
Whoever gets one though, enjoy and stay safe.
Edit: After looking at it more and more, I may just get one. Hopefully I'm in time when they roll out.
A nine-second production car that we expect will cost one-tenth the price of a new 918. Let that sink in.
So +/- $80-90kSource:http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...-and-info-news

I see those going for upwards of $175 k here in Canadian dealerships.
They will never go under 100k - 125k, hell I'd even say 150k here in Canada.
Pretty sure only 300 in Canada have been sold out already or the mark up is like +50% advertised price due to "fees" lmao.
