This thread feels like the twilight zone. People telling me to eat more when I'm losing 2lbs a week and chit. Fukk that. Do you guys seriously lose 3lbs a week? Never ever seen anyone post a cutting thread where they pulled that off unless they were 300lbs. I'm not gonna change a single thing in this home stretch.

Incidentally, my buddy (with whom I have the $600 bet) said he's still drinking on the weekends and that he recently got plastered and demolished a bunch of mcdonalds (which is apparently available in Chiang Mai). I called him out for psyops but he sent me a pic of the cheeseburger wrappers lol. No fukken idea what he's thinking, but I'm gonna rekk him. I haven't had a molecule of ethanol since August 18.

hey cockfish, you ignored my previous post.

If you're not doing resistance training please do it nowwwww. The increase in lean body mass will increase your BMR and ultimately the amount of calories you burn. Not to mention the calories you'll burn from lifting, and you'll look better than just skinny.

I disagree with those telling you to eat more. I would agree if you had more time, but seeing as you don't it's desperation mode. I used to wrestle and would lose 10 lbs in a week on the reg. Keep the calories as low as you can without making yourself too crazy. Towards the end I would work on shifting to as few carbs as possible. Did you ever post your workout plan/diet? exercise science brah checking in

I'm eating 200p/80c/40f

2-3 hours of LISS a day

low volume U/L split with no days off. anything more and i get woozy during the day at work and can't operate without adding carbs. same thing if i do higher intensity cardio. i think i've found the sweet spot. i kind of suspect that i could go nearly no carb if i didn't lift at all, but obv i would evolve to ultratwink form

anyone objectively looking at my results at the end will have to say that i did a pretty good cut, although my lack of experience caused me to be off on the timing (but only by a few weeks srs)

Agreed on not doing HIIT with 80c, I'd feel like absolute chit at that level.

Protein is on the high end, with your LBM, is there a reason you're eating 200g/day? You could get by with 1/2 of that (although, yeah, proteins, aim high).

Then 40g of fats? Eek. Good-bye hormones. I know, fats are calorie-dense and you're on a starvation-cut but you might really think about cutting some calories from protein and looking at a few more fat calories.

Lastly, you got the 80g of carbs. I'm guessing for energy? Are you timing them before your workouts? If not, do it -- otherwise, if you're eating the carbs and just using them to fuel the LISS, and you're doing a massive amount of LISS, then they are not serving any purpose. Right now, the ONLY purpose for any carbohydrate in your diet is one thing and one thing only, and that is to fuel resistance training.

If you eat one and they aren't fueling a workout, it's a waste of time and a wasted calorie.

Lastly, I have realistically looked at your progress. My honest-to-God opinion here is that you are 4-6 months out from abs or being at 10-11%.

October 1 to December 1, it looks like you went from 21-22% to 17-18%, and you are absolutely making progress but going from 22%-17%, that's a cake walk compared to even getting to 12% and, while I don't think I've been much lower than 12% personally so take that in mind here, but from anything I've ever heard from those that have -- getting from 12% to 10% takes more effort, more consistency and fat gets slower to leave as you have less of it.

So... while you might have progressed an admirable 4-5% drop in 2 months -- it's only going to get harder and slower. That is why I say 4-6 months, not because I enjoy being the bringer of bad news or being a dick.

Mis-judging your time frame is a #1 reason why cuts fail.

Been there. Done that. Failed miserably, at least personally - although I was doing a few things wrong beyond this, so I can't just lay the blame of it on LISS.

i envy people who are on severe cuts and just sit around doing nothing. i could very easily do a psmf forever like that srs.

12-14 by end of january srs. i wake up with a diamond cutter every morning, so i doubt my hormones have been affected at all. low fat only causes endocrine issues when it coincides with a fat soluble vitamin deficiency srs. you could be right about protein, but i've been finding that keeping protein up lowers my carb requirement (the amount needed to function at work without passing out). i figure there's a TEF advantage to protein and obv a muscle sparing effect.

gonna keep cutting no matter how long it takes to hit 12% srs. keep an eye on the gallery in my sig to see updates in 2019 lol. i think end of january srs

after that i'm gonna keep my diet where it is roughly and just add back in carbs and try to gain 10lbs of muscle in 2019 at least. i have no leg muscle so it's plausible.

Maybe a drastic difference between sitting at a desk, but not a drastic difference between hitting the weights hard. The latter is more beneficial and is what will get you looking how you want. Hours of cardio is completely unnecessary but I get you're rushing the goal, although I think that's just going to hurt you in the end. (Bribe a mod to update the thread title to March).

i'm doing it on top of lifting. doing more lifting and less walking just ups my carb requirement. i think i have a good mix.
