Yep I remember this case.

I don't think man slaughter is the right crime, but I don't think the right crime exists.

Regardless she is a psychopath and I don't know how anyone can read those messages and think she should be out in the world.

Fukk no. There absolutely should be no legal obligation to 'rescue' anyone. I don't know if you read the texts or not. She didn't negligently let it happen. She encouraged him/manipulated him to do so. She's crazy, but I don't believe in or support charging people for bull**** like this or for cyber-bullying. If he would have told her to fukk off then blocked her and she'd have went around that and continued to contact him and harass him maybe you've got a case. But this is just one crazy person telling another crazy person to kill them-self, and they follow through.



There are a lot of crazy/suicidal/depressed people in this world. I've been shot at a few times by people that didn't have the courage to just off themselves so they try to suicide by cop. As far as I'm concerned if a crazy person kills them-self that's a huge one up for society as a whole. Just one person that's less likely to go on a shooting spree in a public location, commit a murder suicide (family member them them-self) or start shooting at cops so they kill them. While we're on that note its not exactly uncommon for someone to kill their spouse, kids or parents before killing them-self. Doesn't even make the news most of the time.




I can understand the kids family wanting 'justice.' But if they'd have been a bit more involved in his life it likely wouldn't have ended like it did. They are just lucky their kid didn't get a gun and off them before himself or go on a shooting spree in a theater, school or shopping mall.

Just as some people, based on training, are required by law to assist in life and death situations.

If anyone from this news story would end up murdering people in the future it would be the girl. Did you read any of the text messages? The poor kid was worried about someone finding him and getting harmed by the carbon monoxide in the truck. Like jesus man this kid was just depressed and scared he wasn't some school shooter hell bent on revenge or hurting people.

Like you said though its good for society if people who are actually crazy off themselves which is why I'm hoping the GF does.

Find it pretty hard to judge her even with the texts

If suicide is a morally reprehensible act, is still debatable, but thinking of the dead boys family I would say yes.
Looking at the texts she certainely pushed him over the edge and seemed really tough and dominant in doing so. I am not as shure as the rest here, she actually is a evil and condemmable as most here seem to believe. She could have legit thought suicide was the right way to help that guy out of his mental problems and believed she was doing him a favor.

Prison or not, in any case she should stay under surveillance, since she is kinda dangerous.
