You seem to think that an MBA is a specialized degree, when it's the most generalized graduate degree one can get. This is how we know you don't know anything.
Me personally, I find it really weird that you consider yourself superior to everyone else, yet have nothing to show for it. And I mean absolutely nothing, it's kind of impressive how much of a failure you are. I know losers who don't try at anything in life, and they are nowhere near the level of rock bottom you've reached. It's like you're actively trying to fail. And if in fact you are, then I guess congratulations.

Market economy folks...if it were truly useless, you wouldn't see so many people choosing to study it. If an MBA were useless, you wouldn't see companies actively seeking people with an MBA.
Studying business is certainly helpful for running a business. It's not necessary, but it is helpful.

Wincel certainly getting a warm welcome back to the Misc.
Through school you are told that you won't make any kind of decent living without a degree, and yet many in the trades do just fine, so it's not bragging about not being educated, it's a haha in your face to the establishment.

That goes for danny and godfrd too. Unless you have something meaningful to contribute, I don't see why I need to continue engaging with you. You won't stop me from engaging with others though. I want to make that clear to you.
If you actually have a thoughtful point to make, I'm happy to hear it.

Not all degrees are a piece of paper. Many can get your foot in the door in different fields. Yes a Construction Management degree will greatly help in getting out of the trades which is why I had tradesmen in my classes

Your counterexample fails since you've gone beyond the domain of discussion. I am not a certification program in a market economy. Nice try with overloaded definition, but that's not an argument. Try again.

I'm willing to bet, you STEMcels pay way more taxes towards broke college students than trades.

Now you're talking about wealth/personal income and certifications. That has nothing to do with what I said. I was arguing about the usefulness of an MBA. You seem to think an MBA is not useful. I am still waiting for an explanation for why companies would use it as a discriminating criterion then.

Sure, some of the trades pay well relative to other job prospects that require no higher education, but the stats don't lie.
A person with a 4 year degree will average $1 Million more income in their life than a person without a college degree. Take away useless liberal majors and that number is likely closer to 2 Million. In addition educated people are more likely to have better financial habits, thus retaining and growing their net worth more than tradies/uneducated people.
School isn't for some people, if you can make an honest living without getting an education more power to you. However, bragging about making $X without an education is akin to bragging about selling yourself short.
